A photograph of a room becomes a personalized bedtime story, with narration.

My part: App development and AI integration.
Context: Independent React Native / Expo app

I built a React Native app with Expo that starts with a photograph of a bedroom. Computer vision identifies objects in the image; story generation folds those objects into a bedtime narrative, then text-to-speech turns it into audio.

The experiment connects image understanding, writing, and speech through OpenAI’s API. Tone and language options give the story another layer of personalization. Printed books and illustrated story pages were ideas for future development.
